We Like to Party!

Wow.

So after finding this song on myspace, (thank you Steven.) and adding it to my profile, I have been listening to it non-stop, and doing the punch punch dance in front of my computer.

I swear, if I had a web cam I would upload it just to show you I'm so telling the truth.
It's hypnotic.
It MAKES you do the punch punch.

No doubt.

Any-either-other-way...

Today has been a good day. I'm still on like, a happy high from talking to Josh yesterday and just relaxing at Starbucks. I wrote a letter to the lovely Rachel today, tossed in a couple pictures and it should be sent out tomorrow.

Actually read more of Brave New World, it's actually becoming interesting mainly because a plot is finally being uncovered. The first like, half of the book was pretty boring. I wish Mrs. Herbert would have us read WICKED for our AP homework.

So earlier this morning, I was reading over some of my pre-summer blog posts, and uncovered in a post on the last day of school, May 23rd, that I had written this:

"Well, now that the summer is upon us, I have big feelings this summer is going to be one that brings a lot of changes into my life. I've been feeling that way for a while, I just feel like this summer is going to bring something, or someone into my life that is totally unexpected. But in a good way, unexpected. Not like "oh-my-gosh-I-wasn't-expecting-that" type of feeling, but a good feeling. A real good feeling =)"

Oh my goodness. This pretty much summed up my summer if any.
I feel cool now.

This summer did bring so many changes with it. And it did bring an unexpected person, one whom I haven't seen in about 2 years. Kind of like, re-kindling our friendship again really made me happy. Bringing the unexpected AIM, that really blew all of my expectations out of the water.

And summer did bring "a good feeling. A real good feeling =)" I really couldn't think of it going down any other way. And it's not over yet, there's still a good 2 more weeks left before I embark on this new journey also know as my junior year of high school.

It feels so weird saying that I'm going to be a junior.
Even more weird saying I'm an upperclassmen.
Even beyond weird that in a year, I'm going to be a senior.

Yikes.
The future freaks me out.

"No, no. I LIKE TO PARTY!"

Respectfully submitted,
Leah
