Is finally hereee!

Ah, it seems like just yesterday I was stepping foot into this unknown territory called "high school" and all of a sudden I'm a senior. Where did the time go?

But before all the stress of senior year, college applications, work, work, more work, and bits and pieces of drama, I have two clean months of SUMMER to enjoy.

Here are the countdown to the two events I'm most looking forward to this summer.

9 Days until CANADA
27 Days until CALVIN CREST

Of course, both are going to be amazing!

Madrigals has become like, my closest group of friends this year. I love them, if I had to wake up to a group of people every morning at 7, I'm glad it was them. This is the last big trip with the seniors before they leave, and I plan to make the most out of the short time we have left together.

And of course, who can even estimate how extremely excited I am about CAMP this summer! My last year as a camper, and I'm planning on staying at least 4 weeks if not more. It's going to be an amazing experience, and I can't wait to see what the Lord has planned for me. I just have a pretty solid feeling this summer is going to be one of the most amazing yet. New friends, new inside jokes, experiences, and all the fun in between.

On another side note, I now know where to look whenever I need a lift in my spirit. I was reading through what people had written in my yearbook yesterday, and I could not believe some of what my friends had written. It makes my heart smile.

Here are some of my favorites.

"You are one of the most enthusiastic and inspirational students that I know at this school. Best of luck your senior year!"

"You are an amazing person and singer, I wish you the best for you next year."

"I admire your confidence and intelligence. I'm gonna miss you!"

"I'm so glad we became friends this year."

"I love you!"

"Leah you've definitely made my junior and senior year memorable. You are one of the most amazing, generous, and driven people I have ever met."

"Leah, I'm so glad we became such close friends this year. I know we've been friends for a long time but I don't know what I would have done without you this year."

"You are one of the most amazing people I know, and you continually inspire me."

"Somehow you always seem to put a smile on everyone's face and that's a quality I like about you."

"I just feel comfortable in that class because everyone is so nice and I think you're one of the nicest people in there."

"You are such an awesome girl, I love you girlie, you are so amazing and I'm going to put money down that you're the next Donald Trump."

"Well, what to say? The only thing that comes to mind is that you are AWESOME!"

"Thanks so much for being such a great friend. I can't imagine high school without you."

"I'm glad you and I became freaking awesome friends."

"I really loved seeing your smiling face every morning, you are such an inspiration."

"I've enjoyed your positive, loving, and kind personality almost every morning. Next year will not be the same without my 'dose' of Leah every morning.

"I love you Leah! You have been a blessing to my life."

"OK, I'm going to go because there's really no point of writing in here when I'm gonna see you every day."

Ok, seriously? I love this more than anything. My friends are the best. Speaking of friends, I have a group to meet at Starbucks later, to kick off what is about to be the most amazing summer ever!

"Yay, it's nature's fruit..."

Respectfully submitted,
