Winner of the weirdest weekend ever?

Sunday, August 23, 2009

I think I take home the prize.

I don't really know how I would describe the first weekend of senior year, other than rather awkward, really hilarious, and filled with a plethora of hilarious quotes.

Um, basically I spent this weekend with my two of my best friends, Lilly and Taylor. They both recently went through a hard time, so I was the voice of reason to cheer them up.

We spent the whole afternoon taking hilarious pictures on photobooth, eating ben and jerry's ice cream, watching sappy love movies and eating some more.

I'm also finding it very ironic that the minute I tell myself I'm not going to worry about little insignificant things in life, they seem to pop up all over the place in my walk. Challenge much? Good thing I work well with stuff like this. Anyone who knows me knows that I am super competitive, so this will just be another way to prove myself I suppose.

Here are a couple quotes that will make you laugh from this weekend.

"Lilly looks happy. Screw her."

"Love will make you do crazy things..."
"...yea, like sex."

"Kittens! Inspired by...kittens!"

"YOU LOOK LIKE JAY LENO!"

"I'm pathetic."

"Why did we watch this movie....it was a horrible idea!"
"I TOLD YOU."

Basically, I love my friends and they love me. It makes me happy.

Week 2 of senior year starts tomorrow. Seems like drama is already brewing. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do in awkward situations, but part of me just wants to burst in and say "Well, this is awkward." and see if it helps.

I'm thinking it won't really make a difference, but eh...it's worth a try.

Time flies. August is almost over. Pretty soon the holidays will be upon us, spring will roll around, and I'll be graduating.

Have I mentioned I can't wait?
I really can't.

Well, I'm off to eat ice cream, and watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Robbert Pattinson is odd looking, I'm sorry. He's more beautiful as Edward Cullen.

"I'm her mom!"
"No...she's not."

Respectfully submitted,
Leah
