the west bank security fence.

Perhaps nothing is more present in Israel right now, and right outside our window, then the West Bank Security fence. Separating the state of Israel from the West Bank, it stands tall as a barrier, preventing individuals without the proper paperwork from moving into Israel. Turns out you don't really need to show anything to go into the West Bank, just when you come out.

Go figure.

The fence is completely blank from the Israeli side, but tells a different story once you cross over the Palestinian territory. I don't have the time or the space to encompass the conflict to you know, but the graffiti on the wall speaks for itself.

That last image was done by a group of Westmont students who spent their time in this same area a year ago on Mediterranean semester.

We hear you guys loud and clear.

Love will win.
