a brief update...

My life is busy.

I apologize for the lack of blog posts. I've been wrapped up in the craziness of the near-end of the semester, and I need to devote my current focus to academia and other responsibilities.

That is not to say I haven't been thinking about a lot.

Each morning I wake up an hour and a half before my first class, brew a cup of coffee, and sit down with my bible and my journal. I read a psalm. I pray for the day, for my section, friends, family, etc. And then I write.

My journal is steadily filling up with reflections and thoughts on life, observations and realizations about the path that lay ahead of me, ambitions and dreams that I hope are to be filled somewhere along them. They are penned in smooth, black ink - a reminder of where I am and where I am heading. These mornings have been my favorite. When the black sludge at the bottom of my coffee begins to turn up to the creamy surface, I know my time is up for that day, only to be revisited in a mere 24 hours.

I have been thinking and writing about a lot lately.

And I can't wait to share it with you.

Thanksgiving break is a week away, and I am working on a very deep, personal, and intricate blog post that will probably appear sometime next week.

Just a brief update to keep you posted. To hold you in anticipation.

And to encourage you to kill the rest of those papers and exams standing in between you and the upcoming holidays.

Carry on.

Respectfully submitted,
