cheers, friends!

Oh hello friends.

A new cover photo must mean I've got some new stuff in the works, and believe me, I do.

This current gem gracing the cover of my blog features two of my friends, Alisha and David, proudly bearing our beer selection for the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics. In honor of Russia, this year's host country, we picked out a selection of brews from Baltika Breweries (St. Petersburg), the premier exporter of Russian beer. To toast to our wonderful Team U.S.A, we grabbed the most patriotic beer off the shelf: Anchor Liberty Ale from Anchor Brewing Co. in San Francisco, CA.

Life is picking up, things are getting busy, but I'm working on revamping this blog and my other social media platforms now that the fast is over. Stayed tuned for reflections on my month off the grid, as well as some new announcements regarding life after graduation, and where I'll be headed in the summer/fall.

Cheers, friends!

Respectfully submitted,
Leah

PS: Check out some reviews of the beer we tasted this weekend. My personal favorites were the Baltika Porter, and of course the (truly patriotic and delightfully hoppy) Liberty Ale.

Baltika #6 Porter | Blatika Breweries, Baltic Porter, 7.00% ABV
Baltika #7 Export | Blatika Breweries, Dortmunder/Export Lager, 5.40% ABV
Baltika #9 Extra (Strong) | Blatika Breweries, Euro Strong Lager, 8.00% ABV
Anchor Liberty Ale | Anchor Brewing Company, American IPA, 5.90% ABV
